In the wake of the Sandy Hook school shooting, Sandy Hook Promise was born. Their mission: To put and end to gun violence
Sandy Hook Promise decided to join forces with SAVE Promise Clubs (Students Against Violence Everywhere) - SAVE Promise Clubs are a place for young people across the country to show their leadership, creativity and passion for protecting their friends, schools and communities from violence BEFORE it happens.
Sandy Hook Promise realized that in order to create a movement, they needed to engage the youth.

This step allowed us to brainstorm ideas that we could then validate with students during our focus group research. Our goal was to create ideas that showcased how students could get involved in SAVE Promise clubs - from starting a club through active participation.
